Cataract IOL Packages
When a cataract is removed, a clear intraocular lens is placed into the eye. There are three excellent premium lens options from which to choose . . . the best is the one that will most enhance your particular lifestyle.
Premium IOL Package
Best option for the individual who would like to be able to see distance and near without glasses after cataract surgery.
Pre-operative testing includes:
- Measurement of the curvature of the eye
- Measurement of the length of the eye
- Measurement of the shape of the cornea
- Measurement of thickness of the cornea
- Measurement of the size of the pupil in normal and dim light
- WaveScan evaluation with calculation of the eye's higher order abberations as needed
- Tests to determine the eye's tear production
Surgical procedure includes:
- Insertion of a premium lens implant
- Astigmatism correction procedure(s) if appropriate
Post-operative care includes:
- Temporary punctual plugs (for dry eyes) as necessary
- Further astigmatism correction procedure(s) if appropriate
- Laser vision correction as needed

Advanced Refractive Package
Best option for the individual who like to achieve his/her best distant vision without glasses but would be willing to wear reading glasses OR for the individual who would like monovision correction (one eye focused for distance and the other for near).
Pre-operative testing includes:
- Measurement of the curvature of the eye
- Measurement of the length of the eye
- Measurement of the shape of the cornea
- Measurement of thickness of the cornea
- Measurement of the size of the pupil in normal and dim light
- WaveScan evaluation with calculation of the eye's higher order abberations as needed
- Tests to determine the eye's tear production
Surgical procedure includes:
- Insertion of a standard, aspheric or toric (astigmatism correcting) implant
- Astigmatism correction procedure(s) if appropriate
Post-operative care includes:
- Temporary puntual plugs (for dry eyes)
- Further astigmatism correction procedure(s) if appropriate
- Laser vision correction as needed

Standard Cataract Surgery Package
Best option for the individual who does not mind wearing glasses for distance and for near after cataract surgery.
Pre-operative testing includes:
- Measurements of the curvature of the eye
- Measurements of the length of the eye
Surgical procedure includes:
- Insertion of a standard implant
Post-operative care includes:
- Prescription for eye glasses
The cataract procedure and one pair of eyeglasses is a covered service under most insurance plans.
