If your eyelid skin is hanging down over the lid margin, insurance will pay for eyelid rejuvenation blepharoplasty. To pre-certify your benefits, we must do a “visual field” test confirming that your superior visual field is affected, photograph your eyelids showing the lid position and submit this information to your insurance company for their determination. The procedure itself is performed in our own dedicated out-patient surgery center so there is no visit to the hospital.
