Contact lens fitting feesContact lenses provide cosmetic benefits, eliminate distortion from eyeglass lenses and obstruction to vision from the frame itself. However, if not fit or cared for properly, they can cause redness, discomfort, infections and even loss of vision.

A contact lens fitting requires knowledge and expertise as one assesses the corneal curvature, optical prescription and health of the anterior segment of the eye and then designs a lens that will provide the optimum fit, vision and comfort. Trial lenses are evaluated to determine the best fit for each individual eye. Follow up visits may be required before a final best lens can be prescribed and care and disinfection protocols must be explained.

For this service there is a “fitting fee”. The lenses themselves can then be purchased separately. For more information call 770.979.2020 x240/241.
